Paul Artrides (aka Maud'Dib) and his son, Leto,
present and future rulers of Frank Herbert and sons' imaginary planet,
where the need for spice (a life-sustaining drug) and personal supplies of
water determine everybody's future.
Are there limits to just how
much Dune our body systems can tolerate, without hopelessly breaking down?
Apparently not.

And here is Susan Sarandon as the
wicked queen mother, or one of them. A cast of dozens, maybe hundreds, but
the plot can be followed with a little effort. The question is, is it
worth doing so? I'd say, "Yes," but only if you are down with a
virus.
And then it doesn't much
matter.
